Peer-to-peer Workshop - Local Action Plans

 

Local Baltic Sea Action Plans lay the pathway for cities to become leaders in Baltic Sea Action. 

This workshop will focus specifically on supporting the BSCA Pioneer Cities to create their Local Baltic Sea Action Plan. In order to secure the resources, we need to set the actions.

Municipalities have a great opportunity to capture the benefits of investing in local clean waters. Efforts from municipalities across the region will be crucial for a clean Baltic Sea.

April Innovation Lab

 

On April 19th and 20th, the seven pioneer cities and regions participating in the Baltic Sea City Accelerator 2016-2017 joined twenty water, technology and business experts. During the two day intensive workshop, the cities and partners worked to co-create a shared vision for the future ideal ‘Baltic Sea Blue City’ as well as worked concretely to identify cost-effective initiatives that will put us on the pathway to reaching that vision.

Eighty participants joined the launch of the Baltic Sea City Accelerator including 19 cities from Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, and Finland. Niklas Zennström, founder of the initiative, Hans Enocson, President and CEO of General Electric Nordic, public and private banks and solution providers were among the participants.
